Pokemon White

So about a moth ago, I bought Pokemon White from my friend, and I just finally got to open the packaging to play yesterday. And I'm amazed. The graphics are so much better as compared to the last games. I mean, when I first got into a Pokemon battle with a trainer, I couldn't believe just how good the graphics were.

The Pokemon
To be honest, I had actually avoided the Black and White game versions because of the new Pokemon that would be added in. They just seemed to be running out of ideas, and well, the new Pokemon looked pretty... Odd. But after my friend had gotten a second copy and offered it to me for only $20 (It then became $10 once I made him change his mind), how could I resist? Now that I'm actually playing the game though, the Pokemon that I have so far encountered seem as if they are just remade versions of past Pokemon (ex. Purrloin = Skitty). But oh well. Hopefully they get better as the game progresses...

The Starters
After having a long debate on the three, I chose Oshawott as mine, but Smugleaf Snivy came in close second. The reason why I didn't choose Snivy though was only because in SoulSilver, I had chosen Chikorita as my starter, so I decided to change it to a water type Pokemon. : ). I just hope that it doesn't turn out into something like Piplup...

The Story Line
When I first started the game, the friend I bought this game from had told me that the story line for the game was one of the main things that he loved, and so far, I agree with him! I haven't gotten that far yet, but I can already tell that it will be promising. What got me though was that they introduced Team Plasma so early in the story (only in the first city I travel to and we already see a confrontation?). I can't wait to see how the ending will be, especially with a second Pokemon Black and White coming out soon. Hopefully N can make it back to the story though...

Oh, I love this game~! I agree that a lot of the newer Pokemon are somewhat based off the older Pokemon but I still love them all (although I do love Skitty more than Purrloin...)
